It's time to gather your treasure to donate to the Mount Saint Peter Trash & Treasure sale! Declutter your belongings and pass them on so others can use them. Bring your pile of donations around back to MSP's Marble Hall on Monday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 23, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We're seeking clean, unbroken, usable housewares, kitchen/dining items, small appliances, books, holiday and home decor, craft supplies, toys, jewelry, sporting goods, tools, gardening supplies, etc.
Not accepting: clothes, large furniture, TVs, non-wheel luggage
The sale runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, and Friday, June 26; with a $5 box sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 27.
Proceeds benefit the Mount St. Peter food pantry and community outreach ministries, which serve more than 300 families a month.

Regional Mass

The regional Mass for Saturday, July 4th will be held at Mount Saint Peter Parish at 9:00AM, preceded by the “Patriotic Rosary” which will begin at 8:15 AM. Parishioners from all three parishes of the New Kensington Catholic Community and Saint Margaret Mary Parish are invited to gather as one family. Together, we will honor our nation’s 250th Anniversary with gratitude. Consider this wonderful opportunity to unite in prayer, give thanks for our religious liberty, and intercede for peace and healing across our nation.
The NKCC and St. Margaret Mary parish offices will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

Please join us for a farewell reception for Fr. Anthony on Sunday, July 5, following the 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM Masses at Mt. St. Peter Parish. The receptions will be held in Marble Hall, and light refreshments will be served.
Take a moment to thank Fr. Anthony for his dedicated ministry to our parishes, congratulate him on his new role, and offer your prayers as as he prepares to begin his new assignment on July 7th. We hope to see you there to give him a warm send-off!

If you are unable to attend one of the opportunities to say goodbye but would like to give/send a card to Fr. Anthony, you may drop it off at the parish office. our staff will ensure he receives it.

The Lower Burrell and New Kensington young adult ministry welcomes you to Mary’s Mantle, a fellowship and faith study group for young women ages 20s-40s. The anticipation is almost over! Keep a watchful eye out for exciting news regarding this year’s Festa Italiana, which will take place on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1! We are thrilled to announce that Kellie Abbott and Lou Greco have graciously stepped up to serve as our event co-chairs.
Please stay tuned for more info and updates in the coming weeks. In the meantime, your continued support and prayers for Kellie and Lou in their leadership efforts are deeply appreciated as they begin this journey!
Festa Basket Raffle
The Festa Italiana Basket Raffle is back for its 7th year, and we need your help! Festa patrons have been amazed by the beautiful, bountiful baskets generously donated by our parishioners and local community, and we would like to continue the tradition this year.
Basket drop-off will be July 25 & 26 from 12:00NN-6:00PM in the back parking lot near Marble Hall.
In-person raffle will be conducted on July 31 and August 1 during Festa, while the online raffle will begin on July 27 and end on August 1.
Can’t donate a complete basket? No worries! We will accept gift cards; sporting event, museum, or theater tickets; autographed sports memorabilia; and any unused/unopened items of which we can combine to make smaller individual baskets.

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults)
Are you or someone you know interested in becoming Catholic?
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is the process through which those who are not baptized are able to become members of the Catholic Church and baptized Christians can receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Holy Communion and Confirmation).
This process includes times of study, prayer, and Rites that take place at Mass. Formation sessions will begin in mid-September.
